No-Boil Pasta

Did you know that you don’t always have to boil pasta? Our take on a classic Italian dish requires only four ingredients in addition to Miceli’s Ricotta Cheese and a slow cooker!

This recipe for Ricotta Slow Cooker Ziti will have you making it repeatedly as it’s so easy and oh-so-good! And guess what? You don’t have to boil the pasta first!

Layer with ricotta cheese
In goes the Miceli's Ricotta Cheese
Ingredients
  • 2 T extra virgin olive oil
  • 16 oz box of ziti pasta
  • 24 oz jar of marinara sauce
  • 14.5 oz can of fire-roasted tomatoes
  • 15 oz of Miceli’s Ricotta Cheese

How to make it
  1. Drizzle oil in the crock of a slow cooker.
  2. Add half a box of ziti—layer with half the can of tomatoes and half the jar of marinara sauce. Drop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese on top, using half the container. Repeat this.
  3. Cook for 2.5 hours on high.
  4. Stir before serving. Add a protein of your choice alongside your favorite salad.
  5. Enjoy!
