Hi, we’re David + Edward! It all started when we swiped right on Tinder.

Together we are building our life in the Midwestern United States, where we’ve moved around a bit. First, we began in Madison, Wisconsin, and then we moved closer to David’s family in Cleveland, Ohio.

Specifically, David is a healthcare IT project manager/application analyst consultant. At the same time, Edward is a user experience designer in financial services. By trade, we work from home, allowing us to maximize time not spent on commutes.

When not working, we like to keep things interesting by exploring new restaurants and trying new recipes at home.

For fun, we’re self-proclaimed food and home enthusiasts. We hope to share some of our latest explorations to spark connections and conversation.

Although our content is a bit of a boho-chic grab bag, we hope it will inspire and be inspired by all of you along the way!

Our home is our ultimate retreat, and we take great care in making it a beautiful and comfortable space. Specifically, we love warm neutrals and bold pops of color, ample layers, and texture.
At Midwest Husbands, we’re sharing some aspects of our love story and journey, which includes our family planning efforts.

While lake life brought us together, adventure keeps us moving forward. However, at the end of the day, it’s really about the stories between us and sharing those moments.

As we navigate the ups and downs of life, we aim to be empathetic and form emotional connections with others.

Specifically, we strive for purpose amidst our challenging world, finding beauty in our vulnerability, growing stronger together, practicing mindfulness, and embracing one another as seasons change and call for resiliency.
