No-Boil Pasta
Did you know that you don’t always have to boil pasta? Our take on a classic Italian dish requires only four ingredients in addition to Miceli’s Ricotta Cheese and a slow cooker!
This recipe for Ricotta Slow Cooker Ziti will have you making it repeatedly as it’s so easy and oh-so-good! And guess what? You don’t have to boil the pasta first!
You will need
- 2 T extra virgin olive oil
- 16 oz box of ziti pasta
- 24 oz jar of marinara sauce
- 14.5 oz can of fire-roasted tomatoes
- 15 oz of Miceli’s Ricotta Cheese
Instructions
- Drizzle oil in the crock of a slow cooker.
- Add half a box of ziti—layer with half the can of tomatoes and half the jar of marinara sauce. Drop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese on top, using half the container. Repeat this.
- Cook for 2.5 hours on high.
- Stir before serving. Add a protein of your choice alongside your favorite salad.
- Enjoy!
