If you’re looking for a treat that’s as effortless as it is indulgent, this Pistachio Ice Cream is about to become your new freezer staple. Using our Ninja CREAMi, we’ve developed a recipe that delivers a velvety texture without the hassle of traditional churning.
By combining simple pantry staples like pistachio pudding mix with a creamy base of milk and whipped cream, you get a rich, nutty flavor that tastes like it came straight from a scoop shop. We also love adding mini semi-sweet chocolate chips during the MIX-IN cycle for a bit of crunch that perfectly complements the smooth pistachio base.
Whether you enjoy it in a cone or straight out of the pint, this recipe proves that you don't need a lot of time to create a dessert that feels special.
You will need
- 1-1/2 c milk
- 1-1/3 c whipped cream
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 1 packet pistachio pudding mix
- 2 T mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Pour milk, whipped cream, vanilla and pudding mix into a large bowl. Using an electric mixer with a whisk attachment, whisk ingredients for 2 minutes on medium power.
- Transfer mixture to the pint container, top with the lid, and freeze.
- After a minimum of 24 hours in the freezer, remove the lid, and put it in the CREAMi.
- Set on the ICE CREAM spin. Upon completion, remove container, and pour in chocolate chips. Put the container back in the CREAMi. Spin on the MIX-IN cycle.
- Remove container, serve in cones or cups, or spoon it right out of the pint!
