Lavender Oatmilk Latte

Spring floral sweetness

Bring the coffee shop home

Brewing espresso at home can be intimidating. We have done Nespresso for years, but we’ve converted to pulling our own using our Breville Barista Touch espresso machine in the past six months.

Working from home means we often crave a pick-me-up almost every day around 2 pm. To help get us through for a while, one of us would head out to Dunkin’ or Starbucks for a little treat. This adds up quickly, as you can imagine! And guess what? Making your own espresso at home is more satisfying!

Sure, it took us a few attempts to make a shot of espresso that tasted as good as what we were used to. But we prevailed from watching a few videos by our favorite internet coffee guy, Ethan Rode. Be sure to check out his amazing content!

Ok, so let’s get on to today’s exciting recipe. Spring is on the way! Have you tried one of the new specialty barista drinks yet? They’re a little bit floral, and we’re here for it!

Let’s make an Iced Lavender Oat Milk Latte with Lavender Cold Foam at home! Torani syrup is the way to go here. Feel free to make your espresso any way you like. Our recipe is easy and will prepare you for the longer days ahead.

You will need

  • Double shot espresso
  • 1 oz lavender syrup
  • 1/2 c oat milk
  • Ice
  • 1/4 c oat milk
  • 1 oz lavender syrup
