A simple weeknight win
There is something so satisfying about the crunch of a perfectly assembled tostada. Our Chicken Tostadas are the ultimate weeknight win—simple, fresh, and ready in minutes. By layering savory, creamy refried beans, seasoned pulled chicken, and our homemade pico de gallo, you get a restaurant-quality meal right in your own kitchen.
Whether you're hosting a casual dinner or just need a quick, delicious bite, these tostadas are guaranteed to be a new family favorite.
You will need
- 10 oz pulled chicken or preferred protein
- 2 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 6 oz washed romaine lettuce, finely chopped
- 1/2 can refried beans
- Fresh pico de gallo (see our recipe here)
- 5 tostada shells
Instructions
- Cook protein of choice and warm refried beans.
- Place tostadas on plates. Use a spatula to spread beans as a foundation.
- Sprinkle on cheese, then add lettuce.
- Top each with 2 oz of preferred protein. Then add a dollop of pico de gallo.
- Enjoy!
